I've noticed that the Lantus/Levemir forum has posts for each person in a day with frequent updates, where the other forums seem to have mainly posts for advice when something has changed. Is there an easy way to explain that?

Each insulin specific insulin group has an approach really due to the size of the group. Lantus/Levemir has a lot of active members daily, same approach is used to let people easily spot potential problems. Single posts drop other posts that might need help further down the list too. If all daily posts are in 1 place, it's easy to find later and easier to see cause of potential issues. Daily posts are highly encouraged.

Smaller insulin specific groups sort of follow that protocol sometimes but I don't know exactly what each one's detail is. Maybe others can give you more details in those...

I almost repeated what Lyresa said, lol. I joined in the Prozinc group and usually did monthly posts, which seemed to be the trend at that time. Once a thread hit 2 pages, we'd start a new one. If I didn't have an insulin specific question, then I went to the Main Health forum :). But as Lyresa stated, it's largely due to Prozinc being a much smaller group compared to L&L ;).

The Lantus/Levemir posts are always very straight forward and to the point. Some of the posts in Feline Health are almost novels. Personally I think it's like talking to a doctor, get to the point please. I used to take my mom to see a specialist and then she'd start talking about how bad the soup was in the cafeteria, you get the point.
