i've used it before, and just started again due to a run of amoxycillin.

I hear its not a great probiotic, and that even some ingredients themselves are not the greatest. Anyone have thoughts on this? What is your experience? I know its sometimes good as a food enhancer/appy stimulant as well.

We have tried human probiotics with poor result.

I've been using it for about a month when Wiley doesn't want to eat. Sometimes its the only way he will show interest in food. I am not using it as a probiotic nor am I expecting any other effects- I'm only using it as an appetite stimulant. It works pretty well and I've begun calling it "kitty crack." He hasn't gotten sick from it, luckily!

It is the yeast that attracts them.... gross story-
At the grooming shop we pretty much throw everything on the floor. If a dog has a ear infection the cotton ball as well gets flung on the floor with what is usually a yeast infection in the ear. My shop cats come out from the woodwork to roll all in it and lick it etc.....GROSS!
I try to remember to throw those in the garbage now:rolleyes:
