I was about to order fortiflora when I realized that in all the descriptions they talk about helping diarrhea. Is this a good choice for Racci who is always constipated? We have just switched to canned food and chicken. Edit: I wanted it to flavor her food but what I'm worried about it that it might make the constipation worse if it helps diarrhea. I guess I didn't explain myself well.

    Thanks.

It has more of a probiotic effect to help promote intestinal health and help a cat recover from diarrhea. It won't do much for constipation. People here use unflavored Miralax or a little canned pumpkin for constipation.

    Hi Squeem,

I wasn't thinking of it to help the constipation. I wanted it to flavor her food but what I'm worried about it that it migght make the constipation worse if it helps diarrhea. I guess I didn't explain myself well.
