Hi All,

I've not posted in ages as my little Chloe is doing great; thanks in part to this wonderful site.

I need advice on treats that are diabetic friendly for my little feline. Since her diagnosis nearly six months ago I've kept her on four feedings/day (fancy feast classics of course!) but I think she is needing a little boost some days. Is it okay to give treats; particularly in the early evening hours? Chloe only needs 1u insulin 1x/day in the early a.m..

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I give my cats freeze-dried, all-met treats a couple of times a week

You can also try cornstarch-free, onion-free baby food (tsp for a treat). Beechnut makes chicken, turkey, and ham flavors.
