So, as you guys know, i make all of Mufasa's food. Boil the chicken breast, shred it. Bake the livers, mash them. Prepare about 2 weeks worth.
Lately, ive just been boiling the breasts & shredding, then adding his supplements. If i do this, a pack of breasts (bout 5 breasts) will make a week and a half. Its been working for him, and as you see hes 1/2 way to remission (day 6 otj). But, it takes about an hour and a half of my time. And sometimes i forget to take chicken out of the freezer. Which means i run to store for some sheba.
After adding the cost, it comes to about 55 cents a serving, which is about the size of a 3.3 ounce can of fancy feast. When pricing out a 30 pack of fancy feast pate, it comes to 53 cents a serving.
Knowing im only saving 2 cents a serving, i stuck on should i switch to fancy feast or stay with making his food.
