Happy Sunday Funday, everyone!!
I was wondering if anyone could chime in on food choices for civvies. I've been feeding FF kitten food to my monsters (and sometimes regular 'feast' flavors), and they are eating me out of house and home! I'm hoping to find something on the healthy side, but in larger cans. Right now, between the two of them, they're eating 8 cans of FF per day.
Cost aside, I really wanted to know more about carb intake for civvies. With Harley, I always shot for the absolute lowest carbs...she never got anything above 5%. What's a reasonable carb level for civvies? Do we stick to the same 'under 10%' rule, or can it be a bit higher? I'm asking because I'm also trying to find foods that are lower in fat content and the low carb foods are notoriously high in fat. Just trying to do right by my little ones, so I can hopefully avoid going down the FD route again; trying to start them off healthy and keep them that way!
I hope everyone is well. I can't wait to hear all of your fabulous ideas!
Oh, here's a couple of more recent pictures of my monsters. They're 4 months old this week. Cheers!!
