Enana on Lantus 100 .5 u bid.

I have been feeding her Fancy Feast Low Carb Classic, she has some Hill's M/D Dry food available (I have a civvie also). I need to give her the PMPS in 30 minutes...I'm assuming I shouldn't let her eat. Am I correct?
