Have a grand question for the sugar land mommas & daddys:

Civie Sista might need to be put on a 3 month food allergy test. The vet wants me to use Royal - venison w/ pea or rabbit w/ potato.

I am wanting the option for grinding my own and not putting Bean in high bg jeopardy.

She is in remission - going on 2+ years! I feed low carb friskies and grind per Dr. Lisa right now.

I do want to help Civie Sista, but need some advice and information to present to the vet Thursday.

Any help will do!

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know if Dr. Lisa will take emailed questions or how I would get one to her?
After reading her raw information, she does use rabbit, but adds chicken to it. I would not be able to do that.
Hoping she can help me....

I believe she consults for a fee. It should indicate somewhere on her website.

Here's a site with raw food customizations and some instructions for using only rabbit:

...if using whole rabbit, which has a higher bone-to-meat ratio than chicken, dilute the extra bone by adding another 20 to 25 percent of plain muscle meat and skin and fat from rabbit, chicken, or turkey.

Many thanks to you Kpassa!

I have searched off and on today while at work! :o

Naughty meee!

I also found that according to dr. lisa's list, the royal venison is 25 carbs and the natural balance venison is 12 if I am comparing apples to apples. Which I believe I am. I would definitely go w/ natural balance if that is what we have to do. Feeding 2 civies and one remission sugar girl different foods is just about impossible in my home.

Now, to shop and find venison or rabbit treats cuz my girls wont give those up. We do lamb, chicken, tuna, bison, duck - now but I guess I will find venison or rabbit somewhere if the vet suggests we stay completely venison/rabbit.

Again, thanks!

Thanks BJM!
I will look it up as well! needing any leads/advice as possible!
