Fluff blood level this morning was 552 Gave him 1u I was so stressed yesterday so today I sat down to look over what happen and I just saw where I almost killed my cat. God was with us both yesterday.

Rose, if you can today, try and test every 2 hrs. At least it is less testing than yesterday was :mrgreen:

Hi again, Rose. I know I posted in PZI before I left for the Dr this morning but I thought I would say it here now too.

I don't think that 1u was a bad choice at all but if I were you I would test a few times today and keep an eye on those numbers. It might well be that the 1U is still too high so I would religiously keep that SS up and depending on how Fluff responds I might consider a slightly lower dose before any possible increase.

My reason for saying that is the reason I posted last night after your crisis was over. It is entirely possible that since it looks like you completely removed the dry food that Fluff needs less insulin.

Again, you did an amazing job yesterday under huge stress!

I tested Fluff at 12:30 and it was 290 Will test about 5pm then at 7:30pm before his shot at 8pm
