Yesterday was Fluffy's 14th OTJ trial day!

I can't tell you how good it is to see him back to normal - or his version of normal which is goofy. He's back to drinking from his paw, banging his back legs against the wall like Thumper, meowing along when we whistle, and sitting behind my head on the back of the couch purring into my ear. I think he missed his ear poke attention this morning because he was pretty vocal when he realized we were awake but not immediately reaching for his ear :-D

It also feels really strange to us not to be testing him constantly. How often do people typically test after the 14 day trial?

We are so grateful to everyone who responded to our posts here and in Lantus Land. Your initial advice, information and support gave me the courage to speak up to our former vet and thanks to Ronny & Luna's advice, we found a fantastic new vet. The people in LL patiently walked us through our first few scary dives and stayed awake with us to make sure Fluffy was going to be ok. This is a special group. I hope I can pay it forward somehow.

Thank you!
Lynn, Dave, Fluffy (aka the big Dude) and his 3 amigos
