He's at 269 but I don't trust injecting him after yesterday, he sank like a stone on barely ANY thing on 191 and hit 37, he may or may not have eaten last night, his brother may have gobbled it, but I'm going to take my chances, not shoot and re-test in an hour. nailbite_smile This is exhausting.

It is tiring and stressful. I hope it helps to know he is definitely on his way to remission. We just have to figure out how to help him get there.

Feeding and retesting is a good idea and will tell us if his pancreas is working this morning. If he comes down after food, it is. Maybe just figure this is a recoup day after yesterday - give his body time to get back on track and see where we are tonight.

So, 3 hours in and he's down to 254 from 269, fed him breakfast around 8:30 and then just fed him a bit more of his unfinished breakfast portion after the second test.

I also think he ate during the night, so I'm not going to leave anything out tonight and see what his numbers look like in the a.m.

Wow! Good job both of you. That is a lovely non diabetic number without insulin. Some small frequent meals and let's see if he can stay in double digits today.

64. 3 hours after breakfast. If this is the new norm I am going to have some choice words for the vet clinic.
