Is there any problem with giving Joe his regular dose of either Advantage II or Revolution. He has diabetes and CKD stage 2.

Following…I wondered the same thing. Does a topical interfere with the shot site for the insulin?
 
I’m not sure about the CKD, but yes it is safe to give flea medicine with diabetes. I put it on my cat a little higher up on the back of her neck (helps keep her from licking it too), but if you do it lower, I would probably just avoid giving injections near that site for a few days just to be safe.
