FLEA MED WARNING

I had a very similar thing happen to me with Advantage II for cats. I applied the topical flea med to Leo in a place he could not lick. It didn't run down his body anywhere. Within 24 hours he had an episode of ataxia and then began grand mal seizures every 4 days. Cost me over $3,000.00 for hospital care and had to put him on phenobarbital. I always thought it was a mislabeled batch that was actually supposed to be for dogs. I should have had the batch checked by an independent lab but didn't. I will never apply any of these to Leo again. I wish I would have pursued it further.

I wish I knew ... or even a lot number or something of the affected packages. But that would involve them actually issueing a recall.

How about calling them and letting them know you read it and want to confirm the lot or batch number. This way they will also know people are aware even though they are not taking action. Ask them to refund you because you don't want to take the chance.
