First Curve: BGL #s seem high

So it’s only been a couple days at 0.75u, does it take some time to see lower numbers? Loki’s numbers aren’t really coming down as low as my vet wants to see them. SS updated.

Have you looked at the Prozinc dosing methods on the Prozinc page? Have a look and chose the method that suits you best.
Until you teach the best dose, you may not see the numbers drop too much. But don’t rush it. I will tag @JanetNJ as she uses Prozinc

Every cat is different so we will have to wait and see how your cat responds.

We all know how hard it is to see high numbers. However, you don't want to increase the dose too quickly or there's the potential that you'll zoom past what is a good dose for your cat. Managing a cat's diabetes is an exercise in patience.

We ran a curve this weekend and I am wondering what you guys think? My vet wants him back up to 1u twice a day and we were trying to be cautious so we went from 0.5 to 0.75 but his numbers are staying pretty high.

I would move up to 1u. Like others said, slow and steady with those increases.
