First blues in a while

Does anyone see anything here other than the need to keep increasing the dose? I'm still concerned/confused by how variable Celle is from cycle to cycle. Is that normal when the dose is too low? Should it even out as we increase?

(Celle is on Lantus now, so be sure to look at that spreadsheet.)

It's possible the 402 is simply a reaction to those blues yesterday. And it's not unusual to see bounces as you increase the doses. The idea of "liver training" is to get it used to the lower numbers - that takes time and consistent doses - meaning not to lower the dose unless there are lows below 50 or 40, don't remember which it's supposed to be with Lantus. On Lev I think decreases should not be done unless there is below 40.

And what also happens as you get close to the best dose is all of a sudden the cat has good numbers and surfs, like you saw yesterday. But the liver and pancreas don't know what's going on because all of a sudden blood glucose is lower than it's been in a long time, so you get the interaction which causes the liver to release sugars since it "thinks" the body's in trouble with low BGs, although they are simply lower than they've been in a long time.

You're doing great! I bet it was nice to see those blues. Surfing for at least 3 hours is good progress.

Thanks! It really doesn't feel like it. Things just seem erratic, but I guess it's better to be suddenly, inexplicably in the blues instead of in black!
