EDIT - Panic over, fed and tested half an hour later, reading was through the roof so +11 was probably a false reading.

Reposting this here from the Caninsulin forum hoping someone can advise...

I just tested Alfie at +11 hrs from his AM shot and he's got his first blue number, which is great, but he's due his shot in an hour so I'm not sure what I should do.

Obviously I'll test him again before he gets fed ar shot time but if it's still that low, should I leave it the same, reduce or not shoot?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

(All made more complicated as I've only got two test strips left, was picking more up from the vet tomorrow! Lesson learned!)

Hey there. First I want to say I am not an experienced Caninsulin . But looking at your SS , this is the lowest he's been since you've been tracking. He is probably going to bounce up to a higher number because of that. But, if he doesn't and you only have 2 strips, I would skip tonight's shot to keep him safe.
