Hey guys been trying to keep our newest member to the family on a healthy diet.
Unfortunately its become a problem.
When he first showed up he ate all the Wellness I threw at him. However it seems that the pate' style foods are not to his liking.
I have a case of Evangers Chicken he wont even look at.
He wont eat Merrick either for some reason.
The last thing he was eating was Taste of the Wild. He turned his nose up at that about 2 weeks ago.
The only thing he likes now is the Solid gold Tuna. Which I dont like giving him all the time due to possible toxins.
Unfortunately I have been forced to supplement with Core, EVO or Instinct kibbles as they are the lowest carb. Def not to my liking.
I would like to note that Silky was on his own for a year and a half. He eats far less store bought food than a cat his size should be. A 6lb bag of kibble lasts about 2 months. So he isnt consuming a lot at a time.
He is a voracious eater of rodents. Eats everything up to and including squirrels. Which is fine. Best diet he could have. I just have to bring him to vets more often to keep him parasite free.
So my question is does anybody know of any chunk non seafood, grain free, low carb cat foods out there?
I am going to see about pricing on Instinct Freeze Dried Raw.
Thank you.
