Thank you for helping me and my kitty. My first week with the freestyle libre was very eye opening and a little wobbly. Thank you for helping me learn enough to start to improve her numbers and teaching me about Lantus and dealing with Lows. I am starting to get it more and today her numbers were 97 and 150 and thereabouts. I have a long way to go but without your help we would have had no idea about any of this.
I believe her weight loss is probably related to her diabetes so controlling it better is life saving. I will continue to do my best for her one day at a time and pray she is ok. Thank you very much for helping us.

Thank you. She is now on 1 unit and it is working well.. she had been on 2 units which was too high and was based on spot checks by the vet. I will do. You have been literally a life saver because the vet tech told me nothing about the things you have taught me.

I have done a spreadsheet in a different format. I can't upload it here. Says I don't have permission?
Do I need to do something? Is there an email I can send it to?
Thank you.

@Dds35day Dayna I see Bhooma has set up our spreadsheet for you see the post above mine, you need to link it to your
signature
By linking it in your signature, we can follow along and provide feedback should you need the help.

Thank you. I has had difficulty with the format. If a time is 4:00am where would that go? I must be slow but I found this confusing. I will take another try later this week. Mine is just am and pm times listed under each date with bg readings. And the insulin dose highlighted in a column.
Thank you for your help. The interesting thing is that first you taught me so much in a short amount of time. I have reduced her dose from 2 units to 1 unit and don't see lows. If I did I know what to do and what not to do.
Looking at her numbers shows me that there is plenty of room for progress. However her numbers are mostly very high. (Except for when I stuffed her when she had the low.) So I will work hard to bring her numbers into a more even level. I had absolutely no clue before you so thank you for your help.
My kitty has been losing weight consistently since November. She has had literally every test and all came out ok. So the specialist suggested we look at her diabetes. Could numbers mostly around 170- 250 cause this kind of weight loss in your experience? I am desperate to find the cause because she can't lose much more and be ok.
Thank you very much.

Dayna --

We are very much wed to the spreadsheet we use here. The format has been used for years and we are used to the way it's color coded and arranged. To be honest, the only way we can be of the most help is to have you use the spreadsheet that Bhooma set up for you.

AMPS is your AM Pre-Shot number. The plus-numbers indicate the hours after your shot. So, +1 is one hour after your shot, +2 is two hours, etc. You start over again at your PMPS (PM Pre-Shot). The "U" column is the dose you're giving Biddy (i.e., the number of units). This link describes how to use the spreadsheet.
