Fern update

Overall we are doing good IMHO. He is still pink PS most of the time but I think that is likely to happen unless we change insulin as Prozinc still "works really well." But overall we have reduced and are mostly getting 2u with a Blue on 6/3 which I shot a short dose then freaked out because I was going out so I gave higher carb food that he got about an ounce of. (3 cats 3 ounce package that they all love). He is also energetic for Fern and has chased his brother up the stairs and bolted out the door when I didn't want him to in the past few days.

Generally I'd say he looks pretty good. Some midcycle numbers would help you figure out if a small increase or decrease would help his levels.

Yes, I agree - the mid-cycle #s will help you see how he's processing that insulin through th 12-hour cycles, and getting a grip on his pattern is one of the keys to helping you determine which way to go on the dosing --- as would be great to see those pre-shot #s start heading downward into the yellow zone before long.
