Fern Update, doing even better anti-jinx

So I was happy with Fern's number toward the end of last week when he was dipping quite often into the high yellows. Well so far this week we have been below 250 pre shot except for last night because yesterday morning I didn't give any insulin with a sub 150 AMPS and me not going to be able to monitor. Even with that last night I gave .4U less than I have in the past and he got down to 75 +5 and did not bounce back this am and was at 245 this AM.

I'm likely to be traveling for work at the end of the month and now I have to figure out a new set of number for the substitute beans. If things stay the same to be conservative I'm thinking:

200-250 .8u
250-325 1.6u
300+ 2U

My Dad was visiting last night and I kind of got the feeling that me setting an alarm to wake up and test to make sure Fern was safe kind of freaked him out a bit.

I think your scale while you are gone sounds good, Jane. Fern is a good example of just waiting out the bounces; eventually they stop. (anti jinx)
