Fern update 3/8

Fern was under the care of his "papa" for 3.5 days due to my work issues. So he was kept to a max of 2.5u total an was measured via alpha track instead of my Meijer meter that has cheaper strips but requires more blood. It appears overall he is continuing to trend lower even with the stress of "not his bean." He only had 1 over 500 number and had 2 numbers close to 300 out of 6 tests enough that I had his papa give a nadir test on one of them. (for some reason he gave a lower insulin shot with a similar number the next day go figure).

Tonight he was high at 480 and so got 3u. But I expect we will be moving back down again tomorrow.

And, Fern's Bean got orders to travel for work tomorrow, so Fern's Papa is going to be coming back to take care of him. This was not suppose to happen but my work place is kind of imploding so I'm not totally surprised.
