I"m feeding my cat twice a day. I"m wondering what others are doing and how much it affects the blood sugar.
I'm very new at this, but thought it was odd that my cat's levels continued to go down all day two days in a row, but are then high again the next morning.

Also, I saw a picture recently of where to put the plunger for .5 and .25 doses, but can't find it now. I"m not certain it was on this site, but was hoping someone knew where I could find one.

Sorry, I"m asking so many questions.
Thank you!

With 14 cats I have set feeding times plus I'm home with them all day so they are fed in relation to Autumn's shots and tests, they are fed at 7am Autumn's am shot time, then again a 1pm or Autumn's +6, then again at 7pm for Autumn's pm shot and then frozen with a topping of fresh again at 10pm-ish or right as I'm turning in for the night and getting Autumn's "lights out" test.

I free feed mine too. It's what they were used to before I switched them to wet food.
They shout if they can see the bottom of their bowls, and they are both VERY LOUD & VOCAL cats, so I just pile it up before bedtime & again in the morning & sometimes freshen it up with water if it dries out too much (although sometimes they like the dried crunchy bits... ).

It's okay. But it might help, by feeding less at a time, but more frequently, because that helps to space the "carb load" out more evenly over the course of the day. Many people do, however, only feed two times a day.

If you want to feed more often but arent home, you could try buying a timed feeder. Or leaving out frozen food.

He has some nice numbers today by the way. Are you going to post on lantus tight regulation?
