Feeding Can Food and Pro Zinc

Right now I feed my cat about 3-4 times per day. Largest meal right before insulin and a smaller meal one or two other times.

When I go back to work, I will not be home for 9 hours. I will feed the cat, give insulin, and go to work. Is going without food Ok? My cat eats only canned food now.

My dad could leave a little canned food about 8 hours when he get my kids off the bus for me.
 
Have you looked at automatic feeders? I have a PetSafe 5 that I love. It's easy to program and hard for cats to break into. You could put food in and have him eat the smaller meals when you want him to. There is a spot for an ice pack but it won't hurt to just leave the food.

I didn't know they existed. Did you buy it online? I will look for it. I can put canned food in it?
