Good Evening,
I just realized that the one flavor Fancy Feast that my kitty loves has wheat gluten and it was on the secondary list, which hasn't been updated. After a week on insulin & many trips to the store to get the right testing supplies I tested him and he is still at 340. So food flavor change is happening at breakfast. I'm so mad that I missed the wheat gluten ingredient. Poor kitty. I just want to get this under control for him so bad.
I'm really thankful that home testing is so easy though. I'm shocked he didn't even care. I tested his sister too and her levels are normal. So that's a positive. I'm so over protective now. Watching their every move. I was wondering if she was drinking too much water.
What size needles are people using? I have ones that go up to 100 units and I'm pretty sure that wrong. I just need to know what to ask the vet for.
