Fancy Feast and Carbs

Hello,

I've been on here for a few weeks now and noticed that a lot of people feed their kitties fancy feast. I looked on Janet & Binky's List and only the Elegant Medleys are listed. Is there anywhere else I can get the carb info for the other varieties? I'm trying to find other brands my kitties will eat before my supply of Sophisticat runs out (and I have to return 2 1/2 cases because they don't like 3 of the flavors now). Everyone says the classic pates are low carb, but I'm obsessed with the numbers (definitely still a newbie haha). I'm on their website and they list classic, roasted, flaked, and chunky as their items without gravy. All safe or are there still some to stay away from?
I'll also be posting tonight in PZI once I update Morlei's spreadsheet, I need some dosing advice..so please venture over there later tonight if you can. Thanks!

There are two lists...the "old" list has all the Fancy Feast classics on it.

I saw that list but then read at the top that it should be considered obsolete and unreliable. Would it be ok to use those numbers in your opinion?

Unless the formula has changed since then, the values will be approximately correct.

Ok, I just want a number to go by, because when I gave the kitties a sophisticat flavor that was slightly higher in carbs than they were used to it gave one of them loose stools...could have been other things but I want to control as much as I can. Thank you!!

Any time you change foods, the recommendation is to do so gradually (barring acute allergic reaction to the current food).

Otherwise, you often get GI upsets of one sort or another.

The best FF ones on the list are the ones that are lower than 5%. The list doesn't say "Classics" but those are the ones you would look for at the store. The current labels all say "classic" on them.
You can also pick up a couple of cans of the "gravy lovers" to have on hand when you get really low numbers and need to feed something to push the BG up pretty quickly. Just store them separate so you don't get them mixed up.
