So its been 4 hours since Booger insulin and I went to check him. First reading was 45! I was like ugh again. So I proceeded to check him a second time. This time he was 317. Why in the world would I get two completely different readings?? Yes I ran a control test as well and that reading was within the numbers on the strip bottle.

Why in the world would I get two completely different readings?? Yes I ran a control test as well and that reading was within the numbers on the strip bottle.

chances are the first time you had either too small of a sample of just a wonky strip. Any time you get an unexpected result like that we always say to take a second reading, which you did.
