All of a sudden, Leko is showing great response to fairly small doses. He's been on insulin for nearly a year. Heather just started posting again, when trace ketones showed up a few days ago. Latest ketone stick showed "trace to none", but couldn't get a test today. He's been getting squids, but not too big an appetite. Also has difficulty with what sounds like pretty severe neuropathy/weakness. He's on methyl b-12 too.

Please note, the 2013 tab of the SS is "upside down". He went down to 34 last night, and down to 43 today. Dose this morning was reduced, and 4 hours late and he still dropped to 43 from 321.

I've been trying to help her and him out, but I'm a bit out of my league.

Thanks,

Carl

Would you please explain more about a late shot being like a reduction? I haven't heard that before. I'm really curious since I'm trying *not* to skip shots since high numbers can add to the ketones
.

I know that late = reduction and early = increase. I just don't know how to explain it clearly.

My guess is when giving a shot say 2 hours late you stretched the previous shots term from a norm of 12 hours to a term of 14 hours so it's effects are also stretched longer. If you give the shot 2 hours early you have just spread the previous shots term over 10 hours vs the norm of 12.
