eyes on health - newbie on lantus -hypo possibility

I asked him to come here and post but you should take a look. Basically the cat has been 160 without insulin for a couple of days. He also just switched to wet.

Then his retired vet gives the cat 0.5IU of Lantus tonite and hypo advice. The vet is going to their house tomorrow to do curve and has told the guy to stay up and test every hour tonite. But I still think he could do with some support.

I posted. Is hard to tell what his numbers are...can't see a hypo danger yet but hopefully he will provide test numbers.

I posted too. I don't see a problem after reading his posts from today three times. Other than the vet told him to test every hour all night long. All the numbers I saw would be considered "flat", and it's really impossible to tell exactly when the kitty got the .5u shot today. Unless I read it wrong...
