Experience w/RCM?

I had to take Squeaker to the vet today. He was in respiratory distress and they drained 174ml of fluid from the left side of his chest. He is now on an ACE inhibiter and I have to inject Lasix 3x daily. The good news, the vet is convinced the diabetes is in remission.

Restrictive cardiomyopathy. I googled it.

Heart disease.

My Waldo had RCM. He lived a good two years after his first heart attack. He was on lasix tablets, Plavix, and ohh I cant remember the other drug. Sorry it's been a couple of years since he passed...He slowed down, took to walking on a leash because he could no longer go out on his own, but was content to the slower pace of life.
