Skittles numbers are so high today , should I do some kind of exercises for him and how? Like move his legs around?
My mom has this and when her sugar levels are high she walks to help bring it down, does that work for animals ?

Any exercise you diabetic pet gets is very helpful to help bring down numbers. You can always engage your kittie in play with one of those birdie on the sticks kind of toy. I can really get my guys going sometimes with that toy and I will start to run with while dragging it on the floor behind me and they will run after it.

I do that too - run up and down the basement stairs - not sure how much it decreases blood sugar though

He has had high levels today and I noticed he has not been very active, I know he doesnt feel good. Last week when he had a high level I did leg exercises with him but never thought to ask about it until tonight

If Skittles is inactive today, it probably is because he is probably feeling pretty yucky with high numbers. Once you start finding a dose that will bring his numbers down, he will start feeling better and being more active.

I'm with Cindi. I'm not saying don't exercise with him...but I'm not sure how much you moving him around will do. As he feels better, I think he will move around more. I encouraged mine to play with a bird on a stick toy (they adore it...my little one will take it in her mouth and walk off dragging the stick behind her...and the others will chase her and pounce on the stick!). We also used a laser pointer that only Gypsy loved. If you can entice him to play, he'll enjoy it hopefully and it might help him feel better too.
