EVO cans - white flakes

which flavor are you using and are you using 95% or the regular one?

I use to use 95% and started finding potatoes in it. I sent it and the potato pieces to the company who told me nothing was wrong with the product - duh! I also found that the beef flavor 95% tended to have white bits - which was "explained" as the fat separating from the food.

I finally stopped buying Evo.

I would suggest that you contact the company and ask them about it, as that doesn't sound right to me at all.
 
Thanks Hillary, I think it was fat. It's just that it was white white. Didn't look natural, the color matched the inside of the can and at first I thought it was the liner flaking. I put it in a pan and it melted like fat not chemical burning odor. I threw out the rest of the can and scrubbed it out. No sign of damage to the lining, so I guess just my paranoia.
