Good morning,
Well, today's the day I must leave my kitty at boarding, at the worst possible time given his recent remission and my own flu. I was out of commission most of the day yesterday, feeling miserable and downright delirious with fever, fortunately I feel better this morning. I managed to get a glucose yesterday that was 100, and this morning it was 116. I've printed the spreadsheets, food tables and all kinds of information for the vet to go over, as well as instructions on microdosing with U100 units. I feel that he may do OK with 0.1 units if his glucose is 250-300, and 0.2 units if it's higher than that. Hopefully he won't need to be dosed at all.
I expect to be back Sunday evening but can't pick him up until Monday morning. I hope I can relax and forget all about glucose, dosing, etc, and that this cold clears up soon.
