G'mornin' !!!
Got up at 4 AM to find Euk seemingly hungry. Glucose check a beautiful 163, too low for me to shoot. Problem is that he is not eating like he's been and I'm not sure what's up with that. He looks fine otherwise, very alert but just stares at the dish, I wonder if it's the dementia I've been thinking of... OK, never mind, as I write this he's trying to cough up a hairball, so no wonder he's not eating. I wonder if I should put him back on the mirtazapine and/or Pepcid? He's been off them like for a week at least, since he had been eating well. I'm not sure if the good reading this morning could be partly from his not eating and therefore his glucose may go up once he starts eating again, still, it seems that there is some baseline insulin going up as he would normally be in the 300s at least and he hasn't even made it into the 200s since 2 days ago.
