Good (and way too early) morning!

Molly is the one that got me up at 3:00 AM today, checked on Euk and his glucose was 141, since I gave a shot at 9:00 PM that would make it +6 instead of what would have been his +9 or +10. So, no worries now about dosing, if he keeps these cycles up he may not need another dose until around 11 AM or so.

I'm wondering if I should let him break 300 and then shoot 0.4, as the cycle may last longer that way? I wouldn't dare shoot 0.4 on a 250 from fear of dropping too much, but the 0.2 makes him drop to the low to mid 100s which is very comfortable, but not lasting as long as he might otherwise (not that I'm complaining)

Morning
nice +6, I dont I think I would let him break the 300's
if you did not have to
why let him go that high?

Just so I can shoot 0.4 (higher dose so cycle would last longer) without fearing hypo if I shoot 0.4 when he's already low. It's just a thought, I'm OK with sticking to 0.2 every14-18 hours as needed.

~O) Morning,

I agree, I wouldn't let him get that high again especially now that he is doing so well. I would think about maybe lowering the dose to .1u when he gets to 200.

You are both doing so great.

I'm here for lunch and checked a glucose, it is a beautiful 196 and that's 15 hours after last night's shot at 9:00 PM! I will go ahead and shoot what I hope it's a 0.1 since I'll be back in a couple of hours to monitor, he's also eating now so I think he'll be fine.

It's been 5 hours after his "0.1" (or approximation thereof) shot and he is coming in at 117!

I hope the way I'm charting this makes sense.

It looks like he may be headed for OTJ land soon, hopefully before my trip next week. I would hate it if boarding him would make him relapse, not sure how to address it. But for now, I ain't complaining but enjoying the vastly improved numbers.
