(Continuation from "Need Advice")

Good morning!
We are cruising along fine today. Just did a +6, it's down to 70, a bit lower than I would like but not unexpected. He got up spontaneously and ate about 10 minutes before the check, I feel reassured that he does have an appetite and eating will help preventing a bottoming out. I wonder if I should have given 0.75 for his AM shot?
 
Thats a beautiful number for +6! Is +6 his usual nadir time? If so, I would be very pleased with this number.
He sounds like hes doing really well and feeling good. :-D
 
Nice day you two are having. Your +6 is a little steep but still ok, you might see a higher number at PMPS from the steeper drop.

I think the 304 this morning was probably still a little bounce from yesterday so you could have gone with .75u, but at least now we will see how he does with the 1 unit and can use this information going forward.

That 70 is pretty much bang on what you would ultimately like to have all the time!
It's a great number!
 
+7 reading is 102. YAYYY!
I have to go out for errands, but I think he can get a break until PMPS, which should be around 5:30 PM, I can only guess what the reading will be then, but so far, it's been a beautiful day of readings. :mrgreen:
 
146 at +9!!!!

Incredibly good, although, what happens for PMPS? I have the feeling that it may be around 270 or so (just guessing), so I'll play by ear and give less, maybe the 0.75, depending on the numbers. So far, it's been a great day.
 
Well, it's PMPS time (actually, to be strict, it's +11.5, and he just read 263!!!

That's GREAT considering he's been so all over the place. The question is, do I give him 0.5, 0.75, or 1 unit? He ate a little about 45 minutes ago, he's up and looking out of the window, looks very good and perky. I'm leanings towards 0.5 because I don't want him to bottom out even though he may be higher tomorrow. Any thoughts?

What a nice PMPS. I see you shot .5u, I think that is good since his insulin needs seem to have come down the last few days.

What a handsom guy he is.
