oh, that is definitely shootable. you don't need to wait. i'd shoot without delay.
if there's any way you can get mid-cycle tests in, that would help us know how low this dose is taking him. Lantus dosing is based upon the nadirs of each cycle. are you gone to work during the day? you're doing a super job at night, btw!

when i say mid-cycle, i'm meaning during the day, if that wasn't obvious. it doesn't have to be exactly the middle of the cycle, but any time helps fill in the picture.

Hi Julie and thank you so much for answering so fast!! I'm working most days all day, but will be able to get a mid cycle shot tomorrow or at the latest on Saturday.
He's chowing down now and I'll shoot as soon as he's got a bit in his tum.
