Living arrangements have changed, Frodo is now among the masses of other kitties. They are eating EVO dry and Wellness Grain Free canned. I changed the EVO to Epigen 90 thinking since it was a lot lower carb than EVO, at least I think it is but Frodo's numbers are going wild, hoping it would work. Problem is we free feed the hard food to other cats (we have 8 total). And I know Frodo is eating before I test him so that is really playing heck with his numbers. Short of putting him in a room by himself so I can totally control his eating I am hoping someone has an idea on what else I can do? Is Young Again lower carb than Wysong Epigen 90? He doesn't really care much about the other cats, but he loves being around people so to close him off in a room on his own seems so cruel. I know everyone says to pick the food up 2 hours prior to test, but that is at 4AM and the other cats would not be very appreciative of it.
I am not sure what to do, I just know I need to get his numbers back down as they are running high and I cannot continue to let him stay there.
Any suggestions or information on the dry foods is appreciated. I need to update his spreadsheet I am a little behind on it.
Thanks,
Nancey
