i know i'm not supposed to be over-analyzing everything my newly diabetic cat is doing...but i think this is quite unusual...
eddie has *always* been a "faucet cat"...he LOOOVES jumping into the bathtub and playing/drinking with the drippy faucet water. eddie has lived in 5 different homes with me and in every home he's always sure to find the bathtub first..then start meowing until i turn on the water just right so he can play with it. it was an obsession.
after he was diagnosed and i started on insulin and i changed his diet (to more wet food) he now completely ignores the bathtub. it's so weird...i'm totally used to him jumping in the tub after i'm finished a shower...now he just sits around and chills and doesn't even care.
could this really just be because he's eating wet food now?
