Eating non edibles and sick

Missy is 21/2 and about a year after stopping insulin thanks to all your help. She is on wet food measured and monitored. Her blood is always around 70. Her weight is 10. She likes non edibles which recently has been rubber. She managed to chew off some of frying pan handle and was fine for a while after that. Today she threw up About 5 times and a match was in 1 throw up. Color of vomit was green brown. She was fed before sick around 4.30am. Vomiting started around 9. I was out and kid was taking care of her. At 5.30 pm she was given a tiny bit of food with water to convince her to drink. She ate most of that, she refused pedialite water with food only water mix. She has not grown up since. She was sitting with paws folded under and now stretched out. She seems to stretch only in sleep. Not sure what to do. Can't afford vet and can't stay with her but my teen may be able to. I had aild virus and now I think my kid has it too. Not sure if that is related. I assume it's a non edible. No $ or time for travel to vet. Help. Will try test her blood now but assume it will be low since she missed her main feed of the day. The 4.30 am was only 1/8 can. She should have gotten 1/2 can by now and another 1/8 before bed. Usually just under 1 can a day. I monitor it slightly to maintain her weight and pervent diabetes kicking in. I may come up as a new member but not just not been here a while and re-registered Bc forgot old info. Please help. Hope can avoid vet and a manage symptoms

Just tested her blood she is 77, which concerns me bc she hasn't eaten in a while. She licked a little at her bowl. She didn't run after testing her blood. She is so quiet and sleepy. Not her usuall excitable self. Worried.

For an upset tummy especially after eating all that stuff, sometimes it's best to just not feed her anything. Maybe some water but it's best to let it pass, let her throw up and she'll come to you when hungry. Don't force her to eat unless more than a day goes by without food. That works for my kitties when they have an upset tummy. As long as you're not administering insulin it's ok to not eat or skip a meal or two.

Thanks that is reassuring. She went recently to finish her bits of food and licked both options clean. I was thrilled. Waited a while and watched try to chase a fly for a moment. She jumped on the counter too. Never been so happy to have her on the counter. I fed a 1/4 before I go to bed with pedalite. She licked it clean and is sleeping again but curled up not stiff like before. I hope it's ok now. I don't know go to remove 911 I posted earlier but think it's settling down. Phew.
