Eating crab

Wondering if Tyrone can eat some crab from crab legs tonight. We are prepping it for dinner and he goes crazy for the stuff Obviously no butter but straight up crab. Thoughts?

Ps. He's been off of insulin since Tuesday AM and his numbers have been below 100 on the relion meter.

I would think little bits of crab for a treat is okay. My cat loves shell fish. You weren't planning to make crab his dinner were you?

Haha! He would love it as a meal but sadly no. Just a few pieces

Crab is pure protein, so it's just fine as a snack or a testing treat. Member Carl and Polly used to feed his diabetic cat Bob fresh shrimp.
