Dumb B12 question -- please help

I got a nice fat bottle of B12 for Newkitty and a 1cc/ml syringe. Where is 0.25 on a syringe like this? Halfway between the 2 and the 3? I know it is a stoopid question but I am used to insulin syringes and pre-drawn 'to-go' syringes from the vet. I don't want to give too much or too little. I haven't had much sleep either (yeah, that is my excuse). I should have asked at the vet but I didn't look at the bottle til just now.
 
Allie, it's between the 2 and the 3. The 5 would be 50 and you only need 25. Why not draw it up in the insulin syringe? Aren't you injecting it?
 
THANKS!!! She gave me some needles to use with it and so I was just going to use them--we are just injecting it into her fluid bag--they said it would sting.
 
Allie, Vit. B12 is a pink fluid and doesn't sting.......I pull up 25 units and shoot. Bottle should just say Vit. B12. Now there is another one called Vit B Complex http://www.vitamindeals.info/articles/vitamin-b.html That does sting. Also, if it is just B12 you are diluting it down in the IV bag. The Complex is different and I believe you need to store the bag once the vitamin is in there in a dark place.
 
Hey Hope. The bottle says B12 on it, I don't really shoot it into the bag but into the little port in the line so it flows down into the cat but not the bag proper. But yeah, that would still dilute it because it mixes with the fluid. Is that bad? That is how they always do it at the vet (we've never had B Complex, just B12). It's ok to just shoot it sub-q under the skin like insulin?
How often do people usually give it? Newkitty is anemic.
