Ok so I know from what I have been reading its best for the kitties to be on wet only but some still want dry.. So Vengeance also has issues with crystals and urinary stuff and I had been giving him some of his Purina pro plan dry kibble between his 12 hr meals being he wants it bad.. well I could find not info on the Carb content so I called them today and WOW.. the Purina Pro Plan Urinary health has 35% Carbs... so yeah that is now a NO Go...

so I got to looking online and I did at one time give him some of the Wysong Urinary Cat food ( dry) but the local cat food place closed down that carried it.. then I moved to the 4health which is tractor supplies brand and oddly he stop liking the taste of it so that is why I switched to the Purina.. so back to the Wysong

So I called them up today and spoke with them they were very eager to help
their urinary food is 24.9% Carbs so TOO HIGH
BUT
they have 2 dry foods that are super super low in Carbs and HIGH in protein..

Their Epigen Chicken
  • Crude Protein (min.) 60%
  • Crude Fat (min.) 15%
  • Crude Fiber (max.) 4%
  • Moisture (max.) 10%
  • Taurine (min.) Not recognized as an essential nutrient by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles. 0.2%
Carbs 5.5%
Phosphorus 1.5

The Epigen 90
  • Crude Protein (min.) 63%
  • Crude Fat (min.) 16%
  • Crude Fiber (max.) 3%
  • Moisture (max.) 10%
  • Taurine (min.) Not recognized as an essential nutrient by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles. 0.2%
  • Carbs 5.3%
  • Phosphorus 1.4

They also offer an additive power you sprinkle in the food that raises the PH balance for cats with Crystals and urinary issues.. so I ordered some of the Epigen and the power to try with Vengeance.. will see how he does on it.. I am dropping his intake of dry to very little but he wants something to snack on between mail meals and he doesnt always want wet until he was 6 he mostly ate dry food ( I know bad but I have always mostly let my cats free range feed on dry )

just thought I would pass this on hope its ok..
