I think he looks pretty good, Dana. And I saw he is still eating some dry, so that might be a barrier to lower numbers, regardless of the insulin dose. That may be what is stopping him from seeing greens.
If you want (and I am big on not doing anything that doesn't feel right or safe to you) you could pick a cycle when you can monitor and give 2 drops on one of his higher blues, like 130 or higher. Be around to catch a +2/5/7/9 and see what happens. Be ready to give gravy if he drops too low. If he stays in safer but a little lower ranges, you can consider adding that method to your tool box.
Some people did do that method, giving drops at lower and lower numbers, to push the kitty into remission. If you check out some of the remission thread spreadsheets, you'll see that. Also check out geekgirldany's thread. She is sort of in your same boat. Catee is on tiny doses(0.4/0.6) and in good ranges but eats higher carb, so she is having trouble pushing the range any lower.
Or just wait. He is consistently below the renal threshold so his pancreas should be healing.
Think about it and always, go with your gut.
