Dreading going out of town

I have to go out of town overnight in 2 weeks! It's just one day.

My hubby will be home & I am confident he can give Glen his shots but testing is out of the question.

My hubby loves the cat but he won't do testing. I've tried but he won't.

I just don't know what to do! I am struggling with getting consistency with Glens numbers so not sure how to do this.

I do have a cat sitter lined up for Glen but she won't test either

Hi Tammy,

Some people give a smaller dose when they need to go away. If you post this question on the Lantus and Levemir board they'll be able to give you some pointers.

Tammy, my husband wouldn't test either. He was good with everything else, just wouldn't test. I would only be gone 24-36 hrs. Husband only needed to give 2 shots the PM and following AM. Only a handful of times was a reduced amount needed.

It's early yet for you. When it's gets closer there are ways to assure safety.

Ya he would need to give the PMPS & AMPS. I would be home in the afternoon.
