A member of our community, AvianDoc, is a veterinarian. Dr. Lynne has generously shared her own clinic's food shopping lists. Thank you, Dr. Lynne! And she has had 12 cat patients go off insulin in the last year following her food protocol.

Are all of these foods supposed to be okay for diabetics? Some of them (the Sophisticat gravies) are really carby according to the Janet/Binky list.

The foods with gravies ARE higher in carbs than those without and should be used in moderation if tolerated by your cat.
