Dosing Advise For Tonight ASAP - Big George PMPS 125

Look at yesterday morning’s cycle and preshot. You shot a similar number with a skinny 1.75. His BG is stable and not dropping tonight. If you can get some tests tonight like you usually do then you could try a 1.25 unit dose or a 1 unit dose. Has he gone up in BG at all?
 
Okay. I am not seeing a reply. Just retest him and if his BG is stable (similar to his PMPS) or rising, then shoot. I would not shoot less than 1 unit. I don’t know exactly what is happening right now so it’s hard to be more specific than that. If he’s rising quite a bit or up to his usual preshot numbers then you can probably give the full dose. You don’t want to skip entirely in his case as it will allow him to climb too high.

Remember, the old shot is wearing off and it should be a couple of hours before the new shot kicks in.

I think the problem is that this thread is too long. It’s now gone onto a second page. We try to keep the threads to 50 posts, although we aren’t going to interrupt things in the middle of managing lower numbers or answering more urgent questions (like last night.) Also, don’t you get alerts either in your email or definitely up at the top of this screen where there’s an icon of a bell? If you click that you should have notifications of any replies to your thread.
