Dosing Advice--Should I hold off on pm insulin

That worked!

My first question is whether you feel comfortable shooting a lower number? Do you have strips and high carb food should you need them and can you stay awake to monitor? If so you can shoot. If you're unsure, I'm guessing it's a bit past your PMPS. I'd get another test and see if numbers are rising. (I hope you didn't feed your cat, though.)

She has not had anything to eat for 2 hours. It's 30 minutes pass my pmps. I'll do another test and see what the numbers are doing. Not sure how high the carbs are in the other foods I have. I do have some of the Friskies Lil soups gravy that may be higher in carbs.

Your numbers are rising. It should be safe to shoot. How about getting a +1. (FYI: whatever time you shoot is your PMPS.)

You'll want to walk your numbers back in the morning since your AMPS is due 12 hours after your PMPS. You can adjust your shot time either by 15 min at each shot or by 30 min once a day.
