? Dose?

Doesn't look like any Prozinc folks are here.

Can you monitor tonight? Do you have a good supply of strips, gravy, karo, etc? And no history of DKA, right?

I think you can shoot at least a partial dose, I'm hesitant to suggest one as I have no Prozinc experience.

Can you test again to make sure the numbers are rising? I'm not an expert, but I don't think I would give a full dose on that number.

Shoot what you are comfortable with, in that case. You shot 1.25U on a 197 and 198, maybe a bit less than that?

And I agree about re-testing, just to be sure what you are dealing with here.

It is quite a jump, but like you said, knowing that it's food related I would still err on the side of caution and give a reduced dose.

OK, could be a food spike, or it could have been a bad strip before, but I think you're definitely good to shoot something. Do whatever you are comfortable. I'm really hesitant to suggest a specific dose due to my personal lack of experience with this insulin, but I would suggest a reduced dose here, just to be on the safe side.

Sorry I can't offer really specific suggestions. Maybe later when there are some prozinc folks around you can discuss some general guidelines, what dose to shoot for what numbers? As you can see, sometimes the boards are lightly trafficked.
