Dose on day of dental? Spock-got answer thx

I've read many posts about it but cannot remember what the SOP is for insulin the day of a dental. Is it a half dose? (No food or water after midnight.) I can't get many tests but I do know that he is bouncy.

Have you spoken to your vet about this? Typically, the vet will provide instructions.

There's a lot of variance with what vet's prefer. Some will say no food after midnight. Others, will opt for no food after 6 AM. It seems to depend on when the procedure will be done. It's the same with insulin. Some vets prefer no insulin and some a half dose. I've never given insulin the day of a dental.
