? Dose Increase To......?

Hello. I do not like these high numbers on 0.1 unit Lantus. I have not been able to get curves day or night this week. Only able to do a few spot checks. He has not been in the 300's for a long time and I really don't like it. His appetite has been very good.

Should I increase to 0.25 or 0.5 units?

I see blues recently, then bouncing. Any chance of even getting a +2 at night? With SLGS, you hold the dose seven days, do a curve or equivalent with spot checks, then decide what to do. I would now hold the 0.25 unit dose and try to get a few more spot checks, especially at night.

On 8/20 and 8/22, he showed you that 0.5 was way too much insulin. Don't go there.
